The Van Diemen Pet Expo is Hobart’s regular pet market — a curated monthly trading spot at Long Beach Reserve, Sandy Bay, built for the makers, growers, groomers, trainers and rescuers who’ve been shut out of the long waitlists and closed books everywhere else.

Tasmania has the highest rate of pet ownership in the country. Your customers are already here. We give you a reliable place to meet them — the second Sunday of every month, October through April.

What your $45 secures

• One 3m x 3m stall site for the market date you choose, all inclusive of GST
• Your business named and mapped on the published site plan
• Promotion across our social channels, flyers and A-frame signage in the lead-up
• A spot in a curated line-up — we balance the mix so you’re not trading beside four of your own competitors
• Trading 9:00am–1:30pm, with bump-in from 8:00am

$45 includes GST. You’ll get a tax invoice on payment.

Before you book

Every stallholder needs a current ABN and public liability insurance to $10 million. Food vendors also need current registration with the City of Hobart. You’ll be asked to accept the Stallholder Agreement at checkout — please read it first.
